Starting May 21, 2024, students in Grades 4-12 will have the opportunity to participate in the Student School Climate Survey at school. The survey results will help schools, and Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, understand more about how to make schools safer and welcoming for everyone.
Students in Grades 4-12 will be given the option to participate in the survey from May 21-31 during class time at school. The survey is voluntary and anonymous. That means no student personal information will be collected (no names, email addresses, student numbers). The results will only include aggregate data about groups of students and will not identify any individual students.
The survey questions are about learning, belonging, identity and diversity, student voice and involvement, safety, bullying, and mental health and well-being. You can review them below.
