Congratulations to grade 12 Bayside Secondary School student, Ian Ketcheson, who once again demonstrated his welding mastery, bringing home the silver medal in the Skills Canada competition held in Quebec City, Quebec last week. Years of training and practice culminated in this achievement on the national stage.
This is Ketcheson's third and final time competing at the national level, and his second medal. Ketcheson will be going to college in the fall to pursue a career in the skilled trades. Way to go Ian!
