Tentative collective agreement between HPEDSB and OSSTF-PSSP

Joint news release from the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, and OSSTF-PSSP

March 7, 2024—A tentative collective agreement has been reached between the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, and the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation- Professional Student Services Personnel bargaining unit.

Employees who are part of OSSTF-PSSP provide professional supports for students, work primarily in schools and include the following:

  • ABA coordinators
  • attendance counsellors
  • Board certified behaviour analysts
  • child and youth workers
  • First Nation, Metis and Inuit social workers
  • psychoeducational consultants
  • social service workers
  • social workers
  • speech language pathologists

Ratification is expected by March 25, 2024.
