April 26, 2023—The HPEDSB Parent Involvement Committee is hosting the Family Symposium on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Belleville YMCA. This year's presentation, Unlock Your Potential, is by Jamie Mason, a Life Coach and former professional motocross athlete from Prince Edward County.
Jamie Mason will share tips to navigate the different "seasons" common to families, sharing four key strategies for moving forward and addressing adversity as parents and students. He will also present on topics focusing on overcoming physical, financial, emotional and relational challenges.
Families have the option to participate in the event in person or watch the livestream of the event. The YMCA is providing free childcare to families attending in person and Duffer's Chip Truck will be onsite. There is no cost to attend the Family Symposium either in person or online.
