Organizers of the 54th Annual Quinte Regional Science and Technology Fair are excited about the upcoming event. They are expecting approximately 150-200 students to exhibit more than 80 projects which demonstrate skills and concepts across a range of engineering and science disciplines.

TIME: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., free of charge
AWARD CEREMONY: 4:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Loyalist College, Belleville
Participating student-scientists and student-engineers have conducted scientific research, and completed engineering projects, hours of research and testing under the guidance of their teachers, parents and mentors.
Scientific research and the application of knowledge in engineering and technology are critical for the ever-changing scientific landscape of the 21st century.
Five students with the top winning projects from Grades 7 to 12 will advance to Canada-wide Science Fair to be held at the University of Lethbridge, Alberta in May. These students will compete at the national level bringing recognition to our area.
About 100 judges from local businesses, the Canadian Armed Forces and educational institutions will take on the difficult task of evaluating the exhibits, interviewing the students about their work, and then convening to determine award winners.
