$1,681 raised by College St. PS students for Terry Fox Foundation
The school is small yet mighty, and they've done it again!
Students at College Street Public School in Trenton demonstrated caring citizenship and responsibility through full-school participation in a recent event for the Terry Fox Foundation.
In addition to participating in run/walk events, students watched two of their teachers get their heads shaved for the cause. Ms. Smith-Eaton, event organizer and Mrs. Saunders showed courage and strength as, in front of the full school population, they underwent a transformation and are now sporting bald heads and big smiles!
Principal Lisa Vincent expressed appreciation to Jen and Mark at the Jazz Hair Studio in Trenton, and to students, families and the wonderful, caring school community.
In addition to raising $1,681 for cancer, these activities are active examples of Growing with Character in motion at College Street Public School!
