Students in the Environmental Club at Prince Edward Collegiate Institute are holding an electronics waste fundraiser. This event will be a fundraiser for Loyalist Humane Society, and provides a safe way for community members to dispose of electronics.
DATE: Saturday, April 25, 2015
LOCATION: Back of Prince Edward Collegiate Institute, 41 Barker Street, Picton
TIME: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Community members are invited to drop off unwanted, outdated or broken electronics waste for free. All proceeds will go to the Loyalist Humane Society.

- Floor standing printing devices including printers, photocopiers, multi-function devices
- Scanners
- Typewriters
- Telephones and answering machines
- Cellular phones and pagers
- Personal digital assistants and personal hand held computers
- Audio and video players and recorders (e.g. MP3, cassette, digital)
- Cameras (web, digital, analog)
- Equalizers/(pre)amplifiers
- Radios receivers
- Speakers
- Turntables
- Video players/projectors
- Digital frames
- Video recorders
- Desktop computers
- Portable computers
- Computer peripherals (keyboards, mice, modems, hard drives, optical drives (CD, Blueray, DVD, HD-DVD))
- Monitors
- Televisions
- Desktop printing devices, including desktop copiers and multi-function devices
- Tires with rims, preferably
- Scrap metal
