Wednesday April 25, 2018 is recognized as Administrative Professionals Day.
The four priorities in the 2015-2020 Strategic Plan_Achieving Excellence&Equity, Learning&Leadership, Public Confidence and Well-Being_link directly to the work administrative professionals do every day.
Administrative professionals support our schools and departments, and contribute to student achievement and well-being. These dedicated employees care for students, assist co-workers and families, keep offices functioning and interact directly with the public. They are ambassadors for HPEDSB. Their efforts create welcoming, inclusive, safe and accepting schools and offices.
Administrative Professionals Week has been celebrated since 1952, beginning as Secretaries Week in the early 1950s. It is a time to recognize and celebrate the work of secretaries, administrative assistants and other office professionals for their invaluable contributions to the workplace.
This week, please take a few moments to thank the administrative professionals in our school board for all they do every day to support students, employees, families and our communities.
