EVENT: “Happy Days” musical performance at Centre Hastings SS

The saying "happy days are here again," is being heard around Centre Hastings Secondary School. Students in the Music Theatre class are putting the finishing touches on their performance of "Happy Days," the sock-hopping musical based on the television series of the same name.

DATES: June 11 to 14 (Tuesday through Friday)
TIME: 7:30 p.m.
LOCATION: Centre Hastings Secondary School, 129 Elgin Street, Madoc
TICKETS: $12, available at the school, 613.473.4251

It's May 1959 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Fonzie (played by student Michael Brogee) is still the King of Cool at his favourite malt shop, Arnold's. The school year is coming to an end and friends Richie, Lori, Beth, Potsie and Ralph Malph are getting ready to graduate from Jefferson High School. The gang's all here, from Pinky Tuscadero to the bumbling and not nice Malachi Brothers. The acting, singing and dancing is a musical celebration of nostalgia at its funniest and best!

Grab your poodle skirt, saddle shoes and bring the whole family. This performance of Happy Days is an event you won't want to miss!
