Pre-Registration Process

Enrolment into the Grade 4 French Immersion program will be initiated and continued subject to adequate enrollment of 25 students, continued funding, available space, and qualified staff. Priority will be given to students registering within their prescribed school attendance area for elective learning programs (host school), based on the student’s home address.

If the program is oversubscribed a random draw will occur. If classes are full, your child will be placed on a wait list. Students who live outside the boundary area of one of the host schools must first be registered at their home school then the parent/guardian must complete Form 340-1: Request for Transfer. Transfer requests will be considered after the process detailed above.

Transportation to the French Immersion program or any other elective learning program is the responsibility of the parent.

To be considered for the French Immersion program, pre-registration forms must be completed and returned to the host school by Friday, February 22, 2019.
