North Hastings High School Closed Monday, January 26, 2026

North Hastings High School will be closed to students and staff due to a heating issue. Students should not go to school today, Monday, January 26, 2026.

School board Facility Services staff and contractors have been working on the heating issue and will continue working on it today.

For students in Grade 9 to 12, we will be implementing the Final Culminating Assessment/Exam schedule as noted below:

Tuesday, January 27: Period 1 Exam, Grade 9 EQAO
Wednesday, January 28: Period 2 Exam
Thursday, January 29: Period 3 Exam 8:40 AM, Period 4 Exam 12:20 PM
Friday, January 30: PA Day no school for students
