Workshop: Parents as Life Coaches
For parents/guardians of children in Grades 6 to 12
This informative session will assist parents/guardians in understanding the language of the Internet, cell phones, texting and the drug culture. Parents will learn how to recognize and deal with cyber‐bullying, what is being done to make our school technology systems safe, and how to monitor home technology systems.
Presenters will include educators from Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, technology professionals, child and youth workers and the community policing officer. There will be opportunity to ask questions about your specific concerns.
