Public information meetings for Stirling & Tweed schools

Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board has received approval from the Ministry of Education to build two new schools, one in Stirling and one in Tweed. Each is scheduled to open in September 2013.

The new Stirling school will consolidate students from Stirling Primary School, Stirling Junior Public School and Stirling Senior Public School into one school on the Stirling Senior site.

The new Tweed school will consolidate students from S.H. Connor School and Tweed-Hungerford Senior Public School into one school on the Tweed-Hungerford site.

  1. STIRLING COMMUNITY: Tuesday, January 17, 2012, 6:30 p.m., Stirling Senior Public School, 107 St. James Street, Stirling.
  2. TWEED COMMUNITY: Wednesday, January 18, 2012, 6:00 p.m., Tweed-Hungerford Senior Public School, 52 McClellan Street, Tweed.

The purpose is to share preliminary floor plans and review project timelines. Members of the public will be able to provide comments and ask questions following the presentation.
