Art work from the Grade 7 and 8 students at Prince Charles School (Belleville) is now on display in the John M Parrot Art Gallery corridor.
These students have been participating in the Learning Through the Arts Youth Empowerment Program this spring. The program is designed to engage young people by infusing arts into their learning environment.
"Our students have been working with Andrea Piller, a local visual artist. Andrea and the classroom teacher work together to plan language arts lessons that are incorporate a variety of visual art forms," remarked Principal Martin Smit.
The student will be on display until the end of June. All are invited to visit the gallery to see what Prince Charles School students have created.
