Hundreds of dresses and suits for Trenton High students
Students at Trenton High went dress and suit shopping last night at school!
The school hosted its first Prom Project, offering prom and graduation attire to students free of charge. With hundreds of dresses and suits, students had a huge variety to choose from.
Student Council leaders, led by staff liaison Ms. Jenny Reid, rolled out the red carpet for the event and dressed in formal attire to welcome shoppers. The atmosphere was energized with a live DJ and plenty of snacks to keep shoppers happy during their search for a special outfit.
Trenton High is truly appreciative to The Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation, along with the several community sponsors, for making this opportunity available for students of Quinte West.
Five other secondary schools will be hosting their ‘shopping’ events on the following dates:
- Bayside Secondary School: Tuesday, April 24 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
- Centennial Secondary School: Wednesday, April 18 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
