High school students to perform with jazz greats

Performing with some of the nation’s top jazz artists is an experience that budding musicians crave. Students from Bayside Secondary School and Centennial Secondary School will soon have chance to do just that!

An upcoming day-long workshop will partner student jazz bands with professional musicians from the Brian Barlow Orchestra. During the day, students will work one-on-one with a master clinician and attend workshops. The day will culminate with a concert at the historic Regent Theatre in Picton where students will experience a first-class performance and also perform on-stage with the pros!
