Hermon PS, the “little school with a big heart” raised $4,300 for charity

Congratulations to the students and Hermon Public School community.

Once again, this "little school with a big heart" has demonstrated its care for the community. The little school of 60 students raised $4,331.50 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Students participated in a fun afternoon of physical activity. They alternated through six activities: dancing, hoola hooping, skipping with short ropes, skipping with long ropes, playing with scoops and frisbees, and shooting hoops, to get their hearts pumping.

These Hermon Hornets are truly heart heroes. During the past 12 years, they have raised close to $40,000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
