Centennial SS students honoured with academic awards

Honouring student achievement was the focus of an awards ceremony at Centennial Secondary School recently.

Academic awards were presented to students who achieved top marks in all subject areas. In addition, the top 10 students from each of Grade 9, 10 and 11 received medals. In total, 186 students were recognized for achievements during the 2009-2010 school year.

Congratulation to the following students who were recognized:

  • Grade 9: Kiara Flavin (top student), Mackenzie Sykes, Katie Svoboda, Mallory Terry, Ella Wanless, Tabita van der Geer, Madeline Quickert, Audrey Kao, Jordan Gardiner, Sadie Montgomery.
  • Grade 10: Rami Saab (top student), Kelli-anne Johnson, Hillary Weinert, Fiza Javed, Hannah Roy, Stephanie Eng, Keith Latulippe, Christina Cowx, Scott Stewart, Alexandra Simons.
  • Grade 11: Natasa Bansagi (top student), Grace Sutherland, Erica D’Anna, Stephanie Brenay, Kelsey Pericak, Elizabeth Emond-Stevenson, Jimmy Chen, Jennifer Fortier, Zoe McPeake, Travis Dafoe.
