June 29, 2022—Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is inviting applications for a superintendent of education.

Working as an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team, and reporting to the Director of Education, the Superintendent of Education will:

• model exemplary personal and professional commitment to learning and achievement;
• seek opportunities through collaboration to create system coherence, build capacity and enhance practice and service;
• provide exceptional leadership in service to all students and schools through the lens of the Board’s 2020-2025 Strategic Plan (Pdf);
• assume portfolio responsibility for Innovation and Inclusion, which includes leadership and collaboration across schools and the system for Equity and Inclusive Education, Indigenous Education, Learning Opportunities and Safe Schools;
