EVENT: Social Networking and Online Safety at Tweed Elementary School

November 8, 2017—Tweed Elementary School is hosting a social media/online safety event parents/guardians and community members.

The presenter Paul Davis, is a social network and online safety expert.

Topics to be covered include the following:

  • Snapchat
  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Smartphones and digital trails
  • Cyberbullying, texting and sexting
  • Online gaming
  • Online security

Davis has a vast amount of expertise in social media and online safety having presented throughout Canada and the United States for many years. Participants will leave this presentation knowing more about social media safety than they do now and may even convince some to change how they’re using using social media themselves.

Students in Grade 4 to 8 will attend a presentation during the day.
