The links on this page support topics in the Pearson "Math Makes Sense" series.
They are posted here with the intent of providing extra practice, supplemental activities, and extensions for students in some topics; that said, teachers need to preview sites and should put short-cuts of those sites they deem worthy of use by their students into shared drives or web pages. Nothing here is intended to replace hands-on activity; rather, to supplement good classroom practice. Also included are sites and resources that are useful as instructional tools for teachers.
Please note: Organization of these pages is based upon the sequence contained in textbooks in hand: because of revisions to the curriculum in 2005, links for grades 3, 4, 5, and 7 may not correspond to current grade-level expectations.
Supplementary Materials in the lists include:
- Interactive websites (tutorials and/or "games")
- "Help" sheets for alternate and/or additional activities to the text activities
- Some sections are incomplete - this is due to a lack of suitable on-line material at the time these pages were constructed.
