Bridges Data about a large number of bridges from around the world
Canadian Climate Data A Canadianized version of the "January Temps" (US data) file in the main dataset.
Cats - Metric A "metrified" version of the popular "cats" file
Cats - Metric - 100 Cats A "metrified" version of the popular "100 cats" file
International Study A large collection of data about 196 world countries
NHL 2006-2007 Statistics and personal information about 100 NHL players in the 2006-2007 season
Planet Data A detailed data set of planetary data (does not reflect Pluto's reclassification by the IAU)

Data Sources on Line Description
Census at School - Canada Census at School is an international classroom project for students aged 8 to 18. They gather information about themselves by completing a brief online survey. The anonymous results are used for teaching various subjects and comparing students' lives in different countries. The site also has activities developed for Ontario mathematics.
Census at School - International Source of international data from its random data selector. Currently the site has UK, South Africa, Queensland, South Australia, Canada, and New Zealand data.
DASL - The Data and Story Library A "gold mine" of data that can be easily imported into Tinkerplots™.
Data and Simulations "Fathom" data files on a variety of topics: can be imported into Tinkerplots™
E-Stat Statistics Canada's E-STAT is a dynamic interactive teaching and learning tool for the education community. It offers an enormous warehouse of reliable and timely statistics about Canada and its ever-changing people.

Sports Data Sources

Read this first: In several sites, you have a choice as to how to view data. If you have a choice, choose "text" (txt) or "ASCII": it's not as pretty, but it imports into Tinkerplots much easier than a complete webpage. There may be pages where you may have to copy-paste the data into Quattro Pro (or Excel) before importing into Tinkerplots.
