Research indicates that leadership is the key to increasing student achievement on a large scale.
In their capacity as school leaders, principals and a teacher acting collaboratively in the role of a Literacy Partner can exert a great deal of influence on teaching and learning. This partnership sustains their capacity to work with staff on the effective use of student data to improve student learning. Administrators will work with the Literacy Partner to create in-school collaborative learning teams for kindergarten through grade eight that focus on achievement patterns and effective instruction, and lead the way for informed improvement planning.
