Food for Learning provides funding to schools to purchase equipment needed for their student nutrition programs. Schools requiring new equipment can submit an Equipment Request to the Food for Learning Coordinator, Kellie Brace.
Food for Learning will purchase such items as fridges, stoves, freezers, small kitchen applicances, kitchen tools, dishes, etc. All equipment purchased is for the sole purpose of preparing meals and snacks for a school's student nutrition programs.
All equipment purchased by Food for Learning remains the property of Food for Learning. Should a program cease to operate, or the equipment purchased is no longer needed, the equipment will be moved to another school.
