10 December 2007, Belleville, ON—Prince Edward Collegiate Institute's Make Poverty History, a student-run initiative established in 2005, is hosting a holiday dinner. All proceeds from this dinner and numerous other fundraisers will be forwarded to Free The Children. The funds are then forwarded to the Enelerai Primary School in Kipsigis, Kenya. The school's first goal is to raise $1,500 to provide the financial support to cover the cost of the school's teacher. We then hope to provide $20 educational kits for every student attending the school.
