25 October 2006, Belleville, Ontario—Dr. Seuss is on the loose at Harry J. Clarke Public School! Children and their families will celebrate literacy at a family literacy event tomorrow from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Guest speaker Donna Kaye, literacy consultant from Family Space, will speak about early literacy.

Tip #4 – Talk about books. Engage your child with them.
Tip #5 – Listen to your child read. Be encouraging.
Tip #6 – Show your child you value their efforts.
The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board serves approximately 18,000 students each day at 46 elementary and 8 secondary schools.
