No job action planned for HPEDSB
15 February 2006, Belleville, Ontario—No job action that would cause disruption within the district is planned for the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board (HPEDSB).

Earlier this week, HPEDSB and Local 1022 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) sent a joint communication to Dalton McGuinty, Premier of Ontario and John Gerretsen, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, requesting further consideration of the proposed legislation, Bill 206.
