Be a host this summer!
As the school year winds down, the International Student Program of the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is looking forward to welcoming 120 summer camp students.

Two- and three- week summer camp programs are a unique opportunity for international students to study in Canada, improve their English and experience the beauty of the Quinte area. The camps will be held at Centennial Secondary School and Susanna Moodie Elementary School.

We would like to offer families in the Centennial and Susanna Moodie school areas the opportunity to host a summer camp student in their home.

Both camps will end on August 6th, and families will be compensated. Homestay camp information kits are now available.

“We are hoping to find exceptional homes to host these visiting students,” says Special Projects Coordinator Lee-Anne Cross.

The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board has 46 elementary and eight secondary schools serving 18,700 students, employing 1,067 teachers and 775 support staff. The Board covers a wide geographical area of 7,221 square kilometres bordered by Maynooth to the north, Deseronto to the east, Prince Edward County to the south, and Quinte West to the west.
