Agreement for secondary teachers receives strong support
The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board has ratified the agreement with secondary teachers regarding amendments to the current collective agreement.

The agreement with the Ontario Secondary Schools Teachers’ Federation–District 29 covers staffing and workload for 2002–2003. It comes after just two sessions of negotiations and was passed with strong support by both parties at their respective ratification meetings on Monday, November 11, 2002.

The agreement covers the 403 teachers with the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, covering the eight secondary schools in their district. Full-time secondary school enrollment for the 2002–2003 year is 6,950 students.
