Board asks mediator to reconvene parties
At its Committee of the Whole meeting this evening, the trustees of the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board directed their chief negotiator to contact the Ministry of Labour mediator with a request that he reconvene the parties for the purpose of presenting a formal offer for settlement.

“We will be pleased to return to negotiations,” says Judy Edgar, Chair of the Board. “It is our intention to attempt to resolve the outstanding issues as identified by the union in the media. We are prepared to make a formal offer that will address these issues and hope that ETFO will seriously consider it.”
