Public school board and CUPE reach tentative two-year agreement
The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is pleased to announce that a tentative two-year agreement has been reached with CUPE Local 1022.

The tentative agreement has a term of September 1, 2002 to August 31, 2004, and impacts approximately 600 clerical, custodial, and educational assistant staff.

Ratification votes by staff and the Board are expected to occur within two weeks. No details will be provided until the parties have ratified.

Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board has 54 schools, over 18,900 students, and covers a wide geographical area from Quinte West to the west, Maynooth to the north, Prince Edward County to the south, and Deseronto to the east.
