EQAO delays release of results

        The Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO), citing "data capture issues", has delayed the release of individual board results for the Grades 3 and 6 Reading, Writing and Mathematics assessments conducted in May, 2001. The results were scheduled to be released to the public on November 2, 2001 along with the Provincial Report on Achievement. The provincial results will still be released on November 2, however the individual board results will now be released on Tuesday, November 6, 2001.
        As requested by EQAO, the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board will also delay its release of results until November 6.
