Incident at Quinte Secondary School

        At approximately 10:00 a.m. this morning there was an explosion in one of the science labs at Quinte Secondary School. One student was transported to hospital for treatment of injuries, four others were treated at the school for minor injuries. The lab has been closed off and an investigation into the incident is underway. It was a contained incident and poses no further risk to the safety of students or staff.
