Special forums for Special Education

    Every child is special. When your child requires special services at school the Special Education Services team at the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is there to help.
    Over the next few weeks, Special Education Services is hosting five community forums that are designed to assist parents with special needs students, community agency personnel, and other interested individuals to learn more about the Special Education Services offered by the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board. Topics will include the Identification and Placement Review Committee Process, Individual Education Plan Standards, Special Education funding, and a question and answer session.
    This is a valuable opportunity to find out more about how the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board supports exceptional students.
    Each community forum starts at 6:30 p.m. and are scheduled for the following days:

• Tuesday, February 13 - Queen Elizabeth Public School, 16 Sillers Avenue, Trenton
• Thursday, February 15 - Education Centre, 156 Ann Street, Belleville
• Tuesday, February 20 - Queen Elizabeth Public School, 35 Barker Street, Picton
• Wednesday, February 21 - Centre Hastings Secondary School, 129 Elgin Street, Madoc
• Thursday, March 1 - North Hastings Senior Elementary, 132 Newkirk Boulevard, Bancroft
