INTEGRATION COMMITTEE
September 2009 - An Integration Committee has been formed with membership from Bancroft Public School and North Hastings Senior Elementary School. The purpose of the committee is to plan for and implement the positive integration of students and staff affected by consolidation, closure or program relocation into their new school environment. BOARD DECISION
May 25, 2009 - Board members approved a motion to close close Bancroft Public School in North Hastings. Students from that school will be accommodated at the current North Hastings Senior Elementary site, creating a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 facility. The closure will be effective June 2011. Integration and transition processes will begin in these two school communities in September 2009.
