Is Online Learning for me?

Online learning can be a rewarding and satisfying way to earn credits. It offers flexibility and

is a refreshing change for some students. However, it requires dedication, responsibility, and

time management.

Technical Requirements

Students need access to reliable high-speed internet. High school students enrolled in regular credit

classes can access the coursework on school computers, but should have access at home as

well. Click here to test your system for necessary hardware and software.

E-learning is a work-at-your-own-pace course that you do at home in your free time. Academic
support is available by your e-learning teacher. Please contact our office at 1-613-962-3133 to register.

Each full credit course consists of 20 required Activities plus a Final Culminating Activity. Each required Activity has assigned work.
You have one calendar year, from the date of your registration to complete a course. We recommend that you hand in a minimum of one Activity per week. However, you may work at a more rapid pace than the minimum.

NOTE: Full-time high school students are not eligible to take Adult Ed courses.
