Junior Enrichment Development Initiative (JEDI)
JEDI is a 2-year, non-credit program, in which Grade 9 and 10 students are challenged to further develop their intellectual abilities by participating in leadership activities, cultural events and volunteer work within the community. Each year, the JEDI program takes part in several different educational tours and destinations include New York City, Washington D.C., Boston, Ottawa or Toronto. Team members also receive visits from many guest speakers who educate them on a variety of interesting subjects. The JEDI program supports driven and curious students in the Academic pathway, who can maintain an 80% course average. JEDI members are responsible, self-motivated students who work toward attaining a Junior Enrichment Certificate at the end of the 2-year program.
