Students participate in DuffleBag Theatre performances
This week, Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board welcomes the “Nearly World Famous DuffleBag Theatre” to 10 schools.
DuffleBag is a wildly popular performing arts group with its own special blend of interactive/improv theatre. Students are invited to join in the performance as actors and find themselves in the roles of the main characters. Afterward, students are motivated to create their own dramatic pieces following a visit from this troupe.
Shows are taking place in 10 schools over Valentine’s week and include Romeo and Juliet, Peter Pan and the newest show, Cinderella.
