Students involved in manufacturing programs featured in national magazine

Gaining knowledge and experience in the trades are opportunities available to today’s youth. Students wanting to go into the trades–or learn more about them before making a decision—can participate in hands-learning on while in high school.

Students from Centennial Secondary School and Quinte Secondary School were featured in the national magazine Shop Metalworking Technology (jump to page 60 at the link, in the top-right corner).

At Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, all secondary schools offer manufacturing technology courses. Specialist High Skills Majors in Manufacturing are offered at Bayside Secondary School and Quinte Secondary School.
