Student Forum for Centennial SS students at the Education Centre, Tues., June 5

Students from Centennial Secondary School are excited to participate the school’s first-ever Student Forum. Participants will involve a cross-section of students in different pathways in Grades 9 to 12.

"The Student Forum is a follow-up to the Tell Them from Me survey which our students participated in a few months ago. They’re going to look at the survey results, discuss what they mean, then identify next steps and focus areas for our school. At Centennial, we believe the student voice is an essential part of student engagement and achievement," stated Eric Fetterley, Vice-principal.

Fetterley and Teacher Laura MacLellan will be taking approximately 40 students to the Education Centre for this event. It will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Reporters are welcome to attend to interview and photograph students.
