Prince Charles Public School (Trenton) presents “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”

Tues., May 17 & Wed., May 18. The Oompa Loompas have been recruited from far and wide for this year’s production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory by Prince Charles Public School (Trenton) elementary students.

With a cast of almost 60 students and many more helping behind the scenes, this musical is a whole-school affair! All have been working hard to create an entertaining and stimulating experience that will make you feel like you are inside Willy Wonka’s tasty candyland. Not only will this be engaging to your eyes and ears, but your tastebuds can get in on the experience, as well, with the purchase some of Mr. Wonka’s indelible treats. Better yet, make them yourself with your very own, cast and crew approved, Willy Wonka cookbook treatbook!

Prince Charles Public School [1], located on the west side of Trenton adjacent to a municipal park and within walking distance of downtown, serves approximately 380 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. Prince Charles Public School is a healthy active school community. This modern school is an air conditioned facility with an excellent gymnasium, library and new computer lab. The outside space includes grassy yards with sports fields, play equipment and recess boxes of play equipment for each class. The school community prides itself on being a safe, healthy, active school in which to learn. Prince Charles Public School is committed to providing a learning environment in which all students reach their academic potential with a focus on improving reading, writing and mathematic skills. Music programs are offered for all grades, including instrumental music in Grade 8. Student leadership committees work with staff to provide intramural programs, peer tutoring and study skills, spirit and charity events, clubs and a full range of sports programs.
