We welcome Bonnie to the Board team as we continue to deliver quality learning environments to support high levels of achievement for each student.”
During recent weeks, Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board conducted an application process to fill a trustee vacancy left by Carl Pitman who passed away in May 2011. Interested individuals were invited to submit applications providing an overview of related experience, why they are interested in the role, a commitment to becoming familiar with the educational issues, policies and system plan of Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, and a willingness to commit the time required to fulfill the trustee role. A total of 18 applications was received, with seven short-listed to the interview stage. Those individuals participated in interviews with all trustees and the secretary of the Board on Tuesday, September 6.
