Flying eggs and electrical challenges at the Science Olympics
Students in Science classes are going to the Olympics early and won’t have to wait until the summer!
Quinte Secondary School will be hosting the Science Olympics on Thursday, April 26, 2012. This event will showcase Junior and Senior Science students from all eight secondary schools.
Students from each school will work together to compete against other schools in a variety of different events, both indoor and outdoor. Students will use their teamwork, leadership, inquiry and problem-solving skills throughout the day, while having an incredible and fun experience!
From flying eggs to electrical challenges, this will be a scientific day to remember!
This event has been organized by several schools and is made possible through a grant from The Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation.
