Earth Hour to be celebrated in schools and administrative offices
Students and staff will demonstrate their commitment to the environment tomorrow by participating in Earth Hour.
At schools and administrative offices, non-emergency lights were turned off for one hour on Friday, March 25, 2011.
Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming. This year Earth Hour will be celebrated globally on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. It is expected that millions of people around the world will switch lights off.
