Drum workshop comes to Queen Victoria School

Students will be using their hand-made and borrowed instruments to shake, rattle, bang and tap to create a community of music and expression. Musical group Abbey North Drummers will teach students about drumming and percussion techniques. All students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 will participate in workshops throughout the day. They will come together for a school-wide concert in the afternoon.

Donations of percussion instruments are welcome! If you would like to lend your tambourine, drums, maracas or rhythm sticks for the day, please contact the school at 613-968-4547.
