Full-day Kindergarten was a feature on CKWS-TV 6:00 p.m. news on Thursday, September 9, 2010.
Principal Bill Launderville and Senior Kindergarten Teacher Denise Lewis talked about the benefits of full-day learning and how, by being at school all day, the children have time to develop social skills and learn school routines. Three Senior Kindergarten children shared their thoughts about their first day at school, as well. Superintendent Trish FitzGibbon ended the story by explaining why the before- and after-school program is not running this year.
