Athol-South Marysburgh School presents “Through the Looking Glass”


Students at Athol-South Marysburgh School are putting the finishing touches on a year-end performance that will dazzle the audience! They will be presenting "Through the Looking Glass," a wild and wacky version of the classic "Alice and Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll, with music and lyrics by Bill Francoeuer.

South Marysburgh Central School, located in Milford, is the setting for Junior Kindergarten to Grade 2 classes. Grade 3 to 8 students attend Athol Central Public School, located in Cherry Valley, 5 km away. The twinned schools of Athol and South Marysburgh have a combined enrolment of approximately 190 students in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. Both schools boast spacious playgrounds in country settings and computer labs at both locations.

The school is dedicated to excellence in instruction and student achievement with an emphasis on balanced literacy and numeracy. An instrumental music program is provided to those students in the intermediate and junior divisions.
