Input needed about school health programming

October 15, 2018—Student health has a direct impact on their educational outcomes. That’s why two organizations, Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board (HPEDSB), and  Hastings Prince Edward Public Health (HPEPH), have collaborated on a survey about student health programming.

Input from school board employees (teachers, school administrators, support staff) is important. Please take 15 minutes to complete the survey [1]. The results will be used to plan the future of health promotion programs and services supported by public health in our schools. Before completing the survey, you will be asked to watch a short video (1:25) from Dr. Piotr Oglaza, the medical officer of health, who describes how your input will help shape the delivery of public health services at our schools.

The survey asks about the following 14 topics:

The survey closes Friday, October 26, 2018.

Thank you for contributing to this valuable planning process. Together we can create healthy school communities that support student well-being and success.
