This week is recognized as National Payroll Week in Canada. It is a time to acknowledge payroll and benefit professionals for their diligent work.
According to The Canadian Payroll Association, Canada’s 1.5 million employers count on payroll professionals to annually pay wages and taxable benefits, file statutory remittances, and administer health and retirement benefits—while complying with more than 200 federal and provincial regulatory requirements.
