French Immersion & Extended French Information Nights, January/February 2017
January 16, 2017—Parents/guardians are invited to attend an Information Session to find out about Extended French (in Bancroft) and French Immersion (in Belleville, Madoc, Picton and Trenton).
Two new French Immersion schools have been added for September 2017: Madoc Public School and Prince Charles Public School (Trenton).

Extended French begins in Grade 5 at York River Public School. The program helps students to develop French-language skills in a variety of subject areas. A minimum of 25% of instruction is in French.
French Immersion develops communication and critical thinking skills, as well as promotes personal growth and self-confidence. FI begins in Grade 4.
